Over 35 years of experience in the concrete pumping industry.
The pump is a ST 45 Mayco hydraulic trailer line pump. It can pump up to 45 yards per hour and is compact. It is towed by a pickup truck so the overall size of the unit, truck and pump, is small and can get into tight spots. Pumping capability is up to 400' using 4", 3", 2.5" and 2" line. The 2" & 3" line makes manual concrete placement easier as it is much lighter than the 4".
Shotcrete is concrete (or sometimes mortar) conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a surface, as a construction technique. Shotcrete is usually an all-inclusive term; gunite is a term sometimes used for some dry-mix types. Shotcrete undergoes placement and compaction at the same time due to the force with which it is projected from the nozzle. It can be impacted onto any type or shape of surface, including vertical or overhead areas.
Slabjacking is a process of introducing material under a concrete slab through small holes in order to raise the slab. The material may be organic, a fine aggregate mixture such as sand and clay, or a grout which includes cement. Applications include pool decks, sidewalks, patios, garage floors, slab foundations, warehouse floors.
Void filling is the processes of displacing empty spaces under concrete surfaces with a material that is more durable than the previous material. There are many different types of material that can be used depending on the requirements of the application.
MCP 's small pumping truck and trailer are able to access narrow cottage roads where other large pieces of equipment would not be able to access. Footings for boat houses are common projects as the pipeline can be easily laid across lawns, with pristine clean ups.
Concrete is at the heart of many construction projects, including those to repair the foundations and basements of residential properties.
Pumping concrete is a fast, flexible, and efficient placement method.
